If you have some time to spare and would like to volunteer, we’d love to hear from you, as there are lots of areas of museum work that you can help us with, including:
- family history research
- workshops and activity sessions with museum visitors of all ages
- transcribing original documents onto our computer system
- meeting and greeting museum visitors
- organising archive material
- guided tours of the museum
- helping with events
- creating learning resources for schools activities and assisting with our education programme.
