It’s 80 years since the German invasion of Norway during the Second World War.
To mark the occasion, we have curated our first ever online exhibition.
You will be able to find out what happened in April 1940, how The Green Howards were involved, and how the events that spring led to lasting links between the regiment and Norway.
Some of the objects featured are from our archive and not usually on display in the museum, others we hope you will come and see once we re-open following the current Covid 19 situation.
