Children’s Art Week

Join us in celebrating Children’s Art Week, an annual event that champions creativity and arts education for young people across the UK. Organised by Engage, the National Association for Gallery Education, this nationwide initiative brings together schools, galleries, museums, and community centres to make art accessible and inspiring for all children.

To mark the occasion, The Green Howards Museum is proud to support young artists and encourage creative learning through our collaboration with Colour Your Streets. We’ve developed a bespoke colouring and activity book that introduces children to key exhibits within the museum – bringing the fascinating history of the Green Howards Regiment to life in a fun and engaging way.

A donation from every book sold will go to Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a wonderful charity supporting bereaved military children.

Whether you’re visiting in person or exploring from home, this is a fantastic opportunity to nurture creativity, learn about local history, and support a meaningful cause.
