Car: Richmond is just 10 minutes from the A1 and A66. The museum is in the centre of the market place.
Parking discs are available from the museum and most shops in the market place. Displaying the disc in your car gives you up to 2 hours FREE parking (8am – 6pm Monday – Saturday). There is unrestricted parking in the market place on Sundays.

Nuns Close Car Park is a Long Stay car park with 228 spaces. Disabled badge holders can park for free in the designated bays for up to 10 hours. Parking is free for motorcycles and coaches in the designated spaces. Parking charges apply from 8am to 6pm. Find out more.
Disabled (restricted to 3 hours) and motorcycle parking bays are available outside the museum.
Rail: The nearest railway stations are in Northallerton and Darlington.
