To celebrate National Year of Reading, The Green Howards Museum is delighted to welcome author Douglas Adamson.
Douglas will be in our iconic Normanby Room at 11am & 2.00pm on 12th August to do 2 live readings of his children’s book: Rubbish.
Rubbish is aimed at children aged 4-9 years age. This fun chapter book has a mild educational theme about the consequences of dropping litter.
Douglas is an author and was an advertising copywriter before taking up writing novels instead of TV/Radio/Press ads.
Douglas started writing as a child and read his first cops ‘n robbers story to his class aged about 9. To date he has written 2 cosy comedic crime novels and one intergenerational romance.
Rubbish: The Little Dog That Became a Street Cleaner is his first children’s book and he has other Rubbish stories ready for publication.
