The Tour de Yorkshire visits Richmond during the weekend of 5 and 6 May.
Cycling is taking over the town and we’re right at the centre of it all, by virtue of the fact our museum is in the middle of the market place and exactly the spot from which the riders roll out, at about noon on the Saturday.
It’s going to be a great spectacle, with lots of fun activities throughout the town over the two days, and the chance to watch all the action on big screens.
There will be some road closures in place over the weekend, so if you are driving in, you will need to plan your visit carefully.
The museum will be open from 10am on both the Saturday and Sunday.
