We want everyone to enjoy and experience what the museum has to offer, and there are lots of ways to join in.

Whether it’s hands-on as a volunteer, making a donation, becoming a Museum Friend, coming along to one of our talks or events, or visiting the museum; we thank you for your support.

Archive projects

In 2018, to mark the centenary anniversary of the end of the First World War, we created a Ribbon of Remembrance.

In 2016 we created a brand new trench newspaper.  Thanks to contributions by museum visitors over the summer, we were able to publish ‘The Daily Blast’.

In 2015 we worked with local people and and members of the U3A (University of the Third Age) to research the history of our museum building, and the people connected with it to create a special exhibition: Changing Places. One building, 1000 years.

In 2014 we worked with women in Catterick Garrison to create Herstory.
