Soar down to the museum to find out about fabulous folk in their flying machines at our fun half term session.
Find out about the daring soldiers who volunteered to take to the skies in the very first aeroplanes.
2018 is the 100th anniversary of the formation of the RAF, so we’ll be finding out about soldiers who volunteered to be fliers, including some very brave members of the Yorkshire Regiment, like Hugh Morkill (left), who was known to fly with a pet lemur called Jimmy.
We’ll also be making our own planes. How far will yours fly?
Suitable for children up to the age of about 10.
This is a FREE event. Children must be accompanied by an adult during the activity.
