‘Testament of Youth’ by Vera Brittain (1893-1970) is an important text for the study of The Great War.

Dr Phylomena Badsey, visiting lecturer at Wolverhampton University, is noted for her research on women and the First World War.  She is the author of ‘The Political Thought of Vera Brittain’ (2005), and will talk to us about Testament of Youth in the context of Brittain’s social and religious beliefs.

This special museum fundraising event takes place in the stunning surroundings of The Normanby Room and includes a glass of wine, or soft drink.
