BAND CONCERT - 4 OCTOBER
From 1958 - 1968 we were the Band of the 4/5 Green Howards TA. It was decided
that when we were disbanded we would form a civilian band and 40 years later
we are still going strong. We are a band of over 40 with an age range from
12 to 80 and it is the only adult wind band within a 40 mile radius of Scarborough.
we are giving a concert on the 4th October at Queen Street Methodist Central Hall Scarborough starting at 7.30pm as part of our 40th year celebrations.
If any members serving or non serving would like to come they would be more than welcome. Further information can be obtained from:

Votes for the National Memorial Arboretum being canvassed
The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK 's favourite
Lottery-funded projects.
The aim is to celebrate and recognise the difference that those projects
have made to people, places and communities across the UK .
Winning the award will help the National Memorial Arboretum to further commemorate
the brave service people who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their
country. It will also help acknowledge the suffering of the families and
loved ones left behind, including those affected by current conflicts.
Please take a minute to vote by visiting www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards
From there, click on the Best Heritage Project category and vote for the
National Memorial Arboretum.
